The McKittrick Hotel in New York City came alive in the late 1930s, and was mapped out to become one of the grandest and most luxurious hotels in the city. However, rumor has it that just after the beginnings of World War II, the hotel’s plans were put on halt, forever altering the destination. Today, the McKittrick Hotel is best-known in the plot of Sleep No More, although it does exist in the gallery district in Chelsea, New York.
